Society Terms and Conditions.

Welcome to The Gun and Shell Factory Cooperative Society Ltd. By using our Financial Services, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using our services.

 

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GSFCOP’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy.

2. Services Provided

GSFCOP offers Financial Services among its Share holders like provides Loans and Credit Sale of different kind, allows their members to keep their deposits in various deposit schemes(Details of Deposit Schemes and Loan Schemes are provide in this website), Provides Holiday Homes at Digha and Puri at a moderate Rate.

3. Eligibility

The foremost crieteria of our member is that he/she must be a permanent employee of The Gun and Shell Factory, Cossipore (and its allied establishments) or Ordnance Factories, Dumdum (and its allied establishments). He/She must not have a membership in any other cooperative societies.

4. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for providing accurate information during membership registration and while availing our services.
  • You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, followed by our Committee of Management and as per Cooperative Acts and Rules, depicted by the Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Govt. of West Bengal.
  • You agree not to act so as it is harmful for our organization or any content that is illegal, misleading, or harmful.

5. Fees and Payment

  • A Membership Fees is to be paid at the time of membership registration.
  • Payments are non-refundable and the membership fees payment is mandatory for membership registration.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your membership incase of violating our specified terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property associated with GSFCOP’s services remain our property. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our materials without prior written consent.

7. Membership Withdrawal

In case of your transfer to other Defence Factories or your superannuation from service, you must have to withdraw your membership with us. We will clear all your deposits(if any) at the time of membership withdrawal. If you have loan(s) due with us, you must have to clear all our due loan(s) before withdrawal of your membership.

8. Mandatory Deposits and Payments

You have to purchase Minimum 1 (One) Share from us of our Society. Thus you will be our Share holders. Besides, A minumum amount of Rs. 100/= (One Hundred) will be deducted from your salary as Thrift Fund and this amount will be deposited to your Thrift Fund Account at our Society. You will be provided Dividend on your Share value every Financial Year. The Balance of Thrift Fund Account with Interest will be paid back to you at the time of Membership withdrawal.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GSFCOP, its employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or legal expenses resulting from your use of our services.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
